Katherine Aerni Named Running Times Webmaster

Katherine Aerni has been selected as the new Webmaster for Running Times Magazine. In announcing the appointment, Running Times publisher Carol Lasseter-Rice said, “Katie’s web and competitive background make her ideally qualified to join our team.” Aerni has designed and managed several websites and has also coached at the university level at Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned 12 letters in track and cross country and earned All-American status in 2002 (steeplechase).
Aerni replaces longtime webmaster Pam Balcke, who becomes Director of Internet Operations for Running Times. “This strengthens our web staff and will allow us to offer an even more comprehensive site in 2006,” said Lasseter-Rice.
Running Times is headquartered in Wilton, CT. With readership of close to 400,000, the print version is known as “the runner’s best resource”.
