Lynx System Developers, Inc. has an immediate need for a World Class International Sales Director to strengthen the international market position of our technology - based measurement equipment used in the sporting industry (track & field, thoroughbred racing, cycling, motor sports, rowing, etc.).
The position is
responsible for assessing the current international distribution network
and qualifying the various international distribution channels in the
major potential markets. Following this evaluation, the International
Sales Director would develop a strategy to make the best use of our
existing international partners and expand on this to maximize market
penetration. As the distribution structure begins to take shape, this
individual would work with distributors to develop sales goals and the
marketing and sales strategies necessary to achieve these goals.
A
qualified candidate would possess:
+ A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
+ A minimum of seven (7)years of sales force management or distribution
management experience
+ An appreciation for, and a sensitivity to, cultural differences
+ Current knowledge of laws governing international distribution
Highly
beneficial qualities include:
+A
background in some form of competitive sports, with track and field being
of particular benefit
+A working knowledge of computer interface products, with a technical
background being a significant plus
+Bi-lingual, the more languages the better
+Working knowledge of, or former affiliation with, any of the various
international sporting organizations such as the IAAF and IOC.
