Lynx
System Developers, Inc. has an
immediate need for a Domestic U.S. Sales Manager.
Lynx develops, manufactures and distributes technology-based
measurement equipment for the sporting industry.
Lynx equipment and solutions have become the global gold standard
for this type of equipment throughout the world.
Lynx products can be found at the highest levels of sports,
including but not limited to, track and field, thoroughbred racing,
cycling, motorcycle racing, NASCAR, and rowing.
As
our Sales Manager, you would work with customers to upgrade existing Lynx
systems and investigate new opportunities to bring technology -
based measurement to sporting environments. In addition, you would respond to domestic inquiries from
educational facilities, sporting facility architects & contractors and
other sports related organizations.
Qualified candidates would have a minimum of six years sales experience, of which two years experience in a management role is required. Direct experience with a technology based product or sporting equipment distribution is also a must. In addition, highly beneficial but not required qualities include:
+ Experience working
with a FinishLynx photo finish system or other sports timing system
+ A background in some form of competitive sports, with track and field or
cross country being of particular interest
+ Held a coaching or officiating position at the high school or collegiate
level, with track and field or cross country being of particular interest
+ A working knowledge of computer interface products, with a technical
background being a significant plus
+ Bi-lingual, with Spanish being of particular interest
