I need help with logo design for my t-shirts.

Is there anywhere that does this kind of thing at a pretty inexpensive rate?

What is the typical going rate for work like this?

Does anyone do it cheap (or free) for non-profit groups?

I thought I'd throw out a message here on a chance that something helpful might come up. Thanks.

Dan

First: Look to the skill set in the membership of your non-profit group. If that does not work out then look for local artist or painter who would like exposure on 300 shirts.

Second: Look to the charity or group that you may be working for. They may have simple artwork ready to go. Stick it down and add text.

Third: Look to well funded add agency that deals with big accounts near you. They, or one of their staff, may do an in-kind donation of design. Smaller mom and pop operators tend to want to be paid. It helps if your logos and other artwork are computer ready and in high resolution.

Try to use the same artwork on cover of race app as for shirts. It helps to tie the them together.

Dan,

Some good advice from James to look around your organization. I would also offer up the idea that your t-shirt vendor may be able to help.

Our race uses SoulGear (www.soulgear.net) for our t-shirts and -- although I design our shirts -- I know that they offer free design services. Contact Peter Imai for more info (peter@soulgear.net or 805.426.9563).

Good luck,

R~
