Tips for half marathoners
For a story for a national running magazine, and with permission from RRM to post, I'm looking for TIPS for half-marathoners who are:
Marathoners switching to the half-marathon distance because of injury, age or time constraints restricting training;
Competitive (non-elite) runners looking for half-marathon PRs.
Also, what mistakes do people in each of these categories make? For example, overconfidence on the part of marathoners, overtraining on the part of newbies ...
If you have any suggestions for coaches who specialize in, or runners who fit into, these categories, please also send them along.
