exhibitor submits with this contract the full exhibit fee and agrees to
be responsible for all services and other charges contracted for by the
exhibitor's representatives. Exhibit rental fees are refundable until
September 15 (less a $50 service charge) in case of exhibitor cancellation. The
exhibitor will not insert nails, tacks or screws into the walls; will not use
scotch tape on walls and will use for decoration only materials which have
been approved by the Ft. Lauderdale Fire Department. The exhibitor will be
responsible for any damage to hotel property inflicted by exhibitor, or his
representatives. Ft. Lauderdale Fire Department rules must be observed. The
use of Road Race Management's name or logo on product giveaways is prohibited
without permission of Road Race Management, Inc. Space assignment as to
location and size will be solely at the discretion of ROAD RACE MANAGEMENT.
Every effort will be made to comply with early requests. Except as the exhibitor rental
obligation may be rendered as set forth above, the exhibitor is responsible
for total booth rental regardless of the reason of cancellation, including
cancellation by the exhibitor because of the failure of an exhibit to arrive
for any reason, including travel or weather conditions. ROAD RACE MANAGEMENT
shall not nor shall any of its sponsors be liable for damage or loss to any
exhibitor's properties through theft, fire, accident or any other destructive
cause, whether the result of negligence or otherwise. Exhibitors are advised
to carry floater insurance to cover exhibit material and public liability for
injury to the person and property of others. RRM assumes no liability for
injury that may occur to visitors to the exhibition, exhibitors or their
agents and employees, or others. Exhibitors agree not to make any claims
against RRM, its employees or agents, except by breach by RRM of this
contract. RRM
reserves the right to require changes in any exhibit, which is deemed
detrimental to the exhibition, other exhibitors or attendees. Exhibitors
must confine their activities and the distribution of any material to the
space for which they have contracted. The exhibitor is charged with having
knowledge of national, and local restrictions on any merchandising,
advertising or promotional activities. RRM does not accept responsibility for
any promotional activities undertaken by any exhibitor. ROAD
RACE MANAGEMENT will supply each exhibitor with a standard display table
(approximately 6 feet long and 30 inches wide), one tabletop covering and one
chair. Standard wall outlets will be available if requested. Displays must be
positioned so as not to obstruct other exhibitors. Additional charges for
phone lines, draping, etc. are the responsibility of exhibitor. The license
granted by this contract is personal and may not be transferred without the
written consent of ROAD RACE MANAGEMENT.
