Moving to St Petersburg in 2016:

The Road Race Management Race Directors' Meeting will be at the luxurious Vinoy Renaissance Hotel in St. Petersburg, FL in 2016. Mid-November is the perfect time to enjoy the warm Florida weather and our spectacular location right on the downtown waterfront!

About the Meeting

The 2016 Road Race Management Race Directors' Meeting and Trade Exhibit will be held November 10-12 at The Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort and Golf Club. The Renaissance is right on the downtown waterfront and is home to five celebrated restaurants, a full-service spa, beautiful 18-hole golf course, ultramodern fitness center, shimmering outdoor pool, and near many local sights and beaches.

Join us at the world’s foremost, oldest, and most prestigious race directors’ meeting and trade exhibit. Network with many of the sport’s prominent and best-known event directors, sponsors, national running media, sports organizations, and your fellow race directors.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to upgrade and improve your event. Learn, talk, socialize, debate and exchange ideas with race officials just like yourself. Immerse yourself in innovative marketing ideas that can help you recruit new and retain existing sponsors. Network with event directors, sponsors, national running media, sports organizations, officials and vendors.

Improve your skills, or run the risk of having your event left behind. Each year Road Race Management recruits many of the sport’s most experienced and articulate leaders who will share their secrets of success with you. Learn how they cope with new challenges and improve their events year after year.

Please join us in St. Petersburg. Think about spending an extra day to enjoy the pool, tennis courts, nearby pristine beaches, and some of the area's most popular attractions, including the Salvador Dalí Museum and the Morean Arts Center.

Who Should Attend?
Race directors, officials of races of all sizes, sponsors, agents, public relations and event marketing professionals, media, and exhibitors with an interest in the road running marketplace.

The Program
The entire faculty prepares fully in advance, often surveying races around the country to bring you topical, in-depth information in all our seminars. Click Here to view the 2016 Meeting Schedule.

The Trade Show
Race officials have a chance to "shop" for all their needs at the two-day Race Directors' Trade Exhibit. The show provides a very efficient way to see what's new for race directors and running clubs, and to meet people you may have been talking to on the phone for years.

Networking
The weekend offers numerous informal gatherings--including the Heatsheets by AFM, Inc. Breakfast
; Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic Coffee Breaks; Gatorade Breaks; Keynote Luncheon; and MarathonGuide.com/World's Best 10K and Ashworth Awards evening receptions--to renew acquaintances, make new friends and learn from your colleagues in a relaxed resort atmosphere.

RRCA Race Director’s Certification Continuing Education Credits (CECs)
Road Runner’s Club of America CEC’s can be earned at the Road Race Management Race Directors’ Meeting (16 CEC’s per year can be earned at our meeting). To maintain RRCA certification, race directors are required to achieve 20 hours of Continuing Educational Credits over a four-year period at the RRM meeting, RRCA meeting or other RRCA approved venues.

See the Sights
Think about spending an extra day to enjoy the
pool, boating and fishing or nearby golf and beaches in this downtown waterfront setting.

Give a Key Worker a Real Perk
Many race committees reward committee members with a trip to this meeting. It's a great way to give a volunteer a special treat while rejuvenating them for next year's race. Take advantage of our special five for four offer.

Special Five for Four Registration Offer
Any race committee, club or company that registers five people by October 19th may register the fifth person free. Payment and all five registrations must be transmitted together by October 19th to qualify--all registrants must be members or staff of the sponsoring organization.
